There are basically two types of service that most of these new or reputable agencies provide; nannies and housekeepers. Both can be live in, full time or part time. Nanny share - This nanny works for two family and divides their time accordingly. If they work for any more they need to be registered as a child minder. Often the two families are familiar to each other but not always. Nannies can provide a wide range of childcare options and help for busy parents. Many reputable agencies will only take on people who have experience in some area of childcare such as teaching or midwifery. This experience can be invaluable and provide you with the piece of mind that you need from someone you are will to place such trust with. It is important to weight up all the options available to you before committing; it's a big step inviting someone into your home and you need to get it right. Factors such as nationality, age and personality all need to be looked at before you make any decision.
