Constipation is distinct as having a bowel group fewer than three times per week. With constipation stools are typically hard, dry, small in size, and difficult to eliminate.

Constipation is a symptom, not a disease. Almost one and all experiences constipation at some point in their life, and a poor diet characteristically is the cause. Most constipation is provisional and not serious.

Causes of all these type of constipation differ from each other.
Constipation means different clothes to different people. For many people, it simply means infrequent stools.

For others, however, constipation resources hard stools, complicatedness passing stools (straining), or a sense of imperfect emptying after a bowel movement.

The cause of each of these "types" of constipation probably is different, and the approach to each should be tailored to the specific type of constipation.

Constipation Treatment

1.Eat fiber-rich foods such as fruits and vegetables like papaya, orange, cabbage, beans, asparagus etc...

2.Eat freshly cooked food with spices like cumin, coriander, termeric, asafoetida etc...

3.Chew food appropriately so that it will be easily digestible.

4.Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water frequently. This will prevent dehydration thereby producing softer bowel movements.

5.Eat plenty of leafy vegetables and salads.

6.Drinking lemon juice mixed with warm water in the morning or prior to any meal is very useful in cleaning the bowel.

Home Remedies for Constipation

1.Ripe bael fruit is regard as best of all laxatives. It cleans and tones up the intestines. It should not be taken at a stretch. It is very effective home remedy for constipation.

2.Drink a glass of warm milk before leaving to bed. In case of severe constipation mix two teaspoons of castor oil in the milk.

3.Drinking lemon juice mixed with warm water two to three times a day eases constipation.

4.One or two teaspoons of aloe gel can be taken twice a day.

5.In case of constipation in children, a suppositary made of the stalk of betel leaf dipped in castor oil can be introduce in the rectum. This right away relieves constipation.

6.Try one teaspoon of corn syrup added to 8oz of water to cure constipation.

7.Add a little extra sugar or a few honey to a glass of milk and drink it twice a day. It is also a superior remedy for constipation.
