Hay fever is also well known as allergic rhinitis. It is also a general problem which shows the signs of normal cold with sneezing, congestion, runny nose and also sinus pressure. Hay fever is also caused due to the allergic reaction to airborne substance for example pollen unlike a cold that is caused due to the virus. Hay fever caused due to the weakness of immune system or mistakes harmless airborne particles as a threat.

The body thinks the particle is harmful it creates an antibody known as immunoglobulin E to attack it. There are some examples of the hay fever cause like tree pollen; it means it affects the people in spring season. Grass pollen, it affects the people later on in the spring and summer also. Weed pollen, it causes during autumn. And fungi and mold spores, when the weather is warm.

There are many medicines to cure hay fever but avoiding consuming of excess pills or medicines. The best and the safest treatment are natural or home remedies as they do not have any kind of side effects.

Here are some of the home remedies to cure hay fever mentioned below.

The very first step is to take a nutritious diet or balanced diet, means a diet that consists of all essential nutrients that the body needs to functions better. Nutritious diet can also boost the immune system and also provides you the energy.

You can also consume the boiled minced grapefruits and lemon by adding some amount of honey. It can be consumed thrice a day on regular basis. It is one of the common and very effective home remedy.

You can also apply the petroleum jelly inside the nostrils because it helps you to reduce the irritation in the nose.

You can also add chamomile in the water and boil for some minutes and inhale the fumes of the water for sometime. This will helps you to open the blocked nose in hay fever. It is also one of the common remedy to deal with the hay fever.

Also avoid or an eliminate flour, sugar, salt and milk product until the hay fever cures.

Also avoid alcohols and smoking because these things are injurious to health and can worsen the hay fever.

You can also recommend avoiding going out early in the morning and late night because this will worsen the case of hay fever.

Avoid preservatives and frozen packed foods and avoid spicy and oily food. You can consume the whole foods and only home made meals.

Garlic is also the best home remedy to maintain the strong immune system and also fight against any kind of allergens. Consume 2 to 3 cloves of garlic in a day and also avoid readymade powder or paste. Also remember, if you have the problem of acidity avoid consuming garlic.

Peppermint and green tea are also best home remedy to cure hay fever and very useful and relieve from the running nose and the respiratory tract.
