Home Remedies For Men Thinning Hair

By: zechong cai Home | Health-and-Fitness | Diseases-and-Conditions

Some men will undergo some thinning of hair during their lifetimes, while a large percentage will have to deal with much more than that predicament. They might experience male pattern baldness, initiating at the apex or the crown and sometimes even in both hair segments. Here are some herbal remedies that work great for hair growth. There are many provided so choose according to your comfort and availability and get going.

1. Use the same paste of cooked beans and fenugreek powder, and add 5-6 tbs of coconut milk and 1 tbs of lemon juice. Massage into the scalp and let it sit for 15 minutes then rinse with a natural shampoo.

2. Put a few drops of vinegar into warm water. Rinse your hair with the water. Vinegar is thought to have a normalizing effect on the scalp's oil glands and pH level as well as having a strong cleansing effect. This practice can prevent hair loss and help hair grow healthier and thicker.

3. A mixture of lime juice and Indian gooseberry juice in equal quantities may be used to wash hair. This remedy stimulates hair growth.

4. Saw palmetto is an herbal remedy, available in health food stores and supermarkets, that helps block the damage caused by DHT. Follow the dosage recommended on the bottle.

MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is a source of sulfur that is a component of the amino acids that are part of hair protein. It can be taken as a supplement.

5. One of the other successful options is to use hair vitamins for fast hair growth. Especially vitamin E is known to help in improving the condition of hair, stop hair loss and promote hair growth.

6. Mix one teaspoonful of apple cider vinegar with a glass of water. Take it with or between meals. For hair loss caused by a tissue salt deficiency, apple cider vinegar can supply the deficiencies where needed, thus help re-establish a natural balance and help hair grow.

7. A mixture of one gram black pepper and 100 grams of curd may be applied on hair, left for an hour, and then washed with warm. This home remedy is quite effective in treating hair loss. Massaging one's hair, with or without hair oil, is a great way to stimulate the roots of the hair and increase blood circulation to that area. This will stimulate hair growth like no other. Make it a weekly routine to mix Castor, coconut, olive and almond oil (or either) in equal quantities and heat it till it's warm. Rub this mixture into the roots of the hair and then proceed to massage and stimulate the scalp for a good 10 minutes. Keep for an hour or overnight and wash off with a fast hair growth shampoo (that preferably contains amla, shikakai and henna).

8. Sage can be combined with apple cider vinegar to clean your scalp. Both of these products can be found in health food stores. Use only raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar. Mix 4 oz. of apple cider vinegar with 4 oz. of water; add 10 drops of the sage essential oil, then pour this solution on your hair. Wrap your hair in a towel and leave it for half an hour, then shampoo as usual.
