Home teeth whitening products commonly available in the market are peroxide-based. The differences between home teeth whitening products such as toothpastes, trays, powders and pens like Idol White are many. The results vary from product to product. In this review of home teeth whitening products each will be considered separately. Whitening toothpastes are usually mild and though they do whiten the teeth to a certain extent, they are not as effective as other home teeth whitening products available on the market. There is usually an agent in the product that polishes the teeth. Teeth whitening powders have been found to be effective, uncomplicated and cheap. However, it could be around a week before the powder starts showing any effect. In the teeth whitening trays is a peroxide gel. The gel is placed in the tray and then fitted around the teeth. These trays could be a bit uncomfortable and if the tray is not shaped right, the results may be uneven. If you want a better fit then custom made trays are similar to the above and as the name suggests, fit better. They are usually fitted at a dentist. Each treatment lasts for about an hour. Teeth whitening strips are more comfortable when compared to the trays. They can be placed on the front of the teeth. The strips stick to the teeth like tape. They need to be applied twice a day for at least 30 minutes. Idol White is a teeth whitening pen that contains gel which can be easily applied to the tooth. The Idol White teeth whitening pen can be applied for just half a minute twice a day and shows very good results. Idol white is considered safe and is easy to apply in it's pen form. In this review we will consider products you can use at home to whiten your teeth. There is also a range of options available at a dentist which work very well but will cost you more. A common one is laser teeth whitening. The above products will whiten your teeth gradually over time. Whereas results are instant by laser. However, not everyone can afford expensive laser treatments at a dentist. Some people just do not like any surgery procedures at a a dentist. For those on a budget, home teeth whitening products can be a good alternative.
