Your boy's birth day is approaching and you are planning it to be grand. Bellow is a birthday party checklist of items to plan for when getting ready for your baby's birthday celebration. Four Weeks To The Party * Choose the date, time and place of the birthday party. * Allow the birthday child to participate by allowing them select the theme. Themes may range from a popular character to their favorite activities (e.g. zoo, bouncy house, or tourist center) or time of year (e.g. a summertime luau theme for a winter party). Three Weeks To The Party * Create the invited guests list. * Choose if you will have to arrange for party helpers based on on the size of the invited guests list. * post the invitations. * Choose the party programs, you can include something like scavenger hunt or a piata to make it easy for everyone to join in celebration. * Plan the decorations. Plan for a welcome sign and colored streamers. This is a wonderful preparation for the birthday celebrant to lend a helping hand with the night prior the party. * prepare the food to be eaten. Will it be held at a time where you will like to serve pizza or chicken fingers for lunch, for example? Or, will it be held at a time where a snack may be needed? Are you hosting the event off-site? If so, does the place come with special arrangements as regards food? * Arrange the party favors. One To Two Weeks To The Birthday Party * Buy the magical birthday present for the celebrant! * Buy the party needs, decorations and take-homes. * Order the birthday cake (unless you have decided to prepare it yourself) and the gas-filled balloons. One To Two Days Before The Birthday Party * Pinpoint an total number of invited guests count by phoning those who have not responded. * Prepare the party food. * Beautify the venue and arrange for any events and games. * Pick up the cake, helium balloons and whatever pending materials.
