With top artists such as Kings of Leon, Coldplay, Elton John and Madness all playing at the 02 this Christmas, it\'s no surprise that the surrounding hotels are quickly filling up. To ensure you have a bed to retire to after a busy night\'s entertainment this December, make sure you do a little research into the hotels near the O2 Arena and get your booking confirmed early to avoid disappointment. The 02 arena has hosted some of the greatest artists in the world. With perfect views of the stage from every angle, crystal clear acoustics, comfy seating and a huge variety of snack and drinks available for sale, what more could you really want from your evening entertainment? The O2 also has the ability to be transformed from a concert venue into a sporting arena and for those who enjoy more intimate venues, there\'s also the indigO2, which has a capacity for 2350 and is situated right next door to the main arena. With so much going on, people come from all over the country to enjoy the events and for those who have far to travel, driving home late at night isn\'t always an inviting option. Many look for a nearby hotel to crash at for the evening and then drive home the next day. Luckily there are plenty of hotels near the O2 arena waiting to accommodate you for the night, ranging from two to five stars which means there\'s somewhere for all budgets and tastes. Naturally, the closer you move to the venue, the more expensive the accommodation becomes. If you are looking to keep the costs down but want to be as close as you can to the venue, you could try the Express by Holiday Inn at London Docklands. This three star modern hotel is just a two kilometre walk from the O2 and offers a contemporary nights stay. One of the benefits of this hotel is that it is located outside of London\'s congestion charge zone so you can make another saving here. Rooms start from about eighty pounds a night and offer all you need from a hotel room. If however, you are literally looking to step from the arena into your hotel room, you could try the Radisson Edwardian New Providence Wharf; A four star hotel, less than a kilometre walk from the O2 arena. However this convenience comes at a price. With rooms from one hundred pounds a night, you certainly get what you pay for, including views of the River Thames, individually designed hotel rooms, Bang & Olufsen TVs an East River spa, fitness centre and terrace restaurant. The best thing to do when you are looking to book your accommodation is to check online to see if you can get a special internet rate. It\'s likely to be much cheaper than if you just turn up on the night, plus you\'ll be guaranteed a bed for the night. After all, the last thing you want to do as you step out of the O2 at 11pm on a Saturday night is trail around the nearby hotels in search of a spare room. Book in advance and you will find some great deals on hotels near the O2 arena.
