You actually do not have to print the biggest catalog or the largest booklet in any kind of situation you are in. Even medium sized or small color catalogs and custom booklets should work quite as well with the right distribution strategies. By printing smaller sizes of course, you can save a lot of money since smaller booklets and catalogs means smaller costs as well. It is a very novel idea that can cut almost 30-40% of your cost, depending on how small you want to go. â€Getting the right printer †Money saving on catalog printing may also come to the choice of printer as well. With all the printing companies out there, there should be just one printer that should have the right booklet printing quality and price for you. Try to search extensively through the yellow pages and the Internet. You’re bound to get the right printer that will save you some money. â€Saving on printing choices - Finally, one money saving trick in catalog printing is to get your savings from cheap printing choices. For example, most printing companies set printing options on the most common choices, such as 3 day turnaround times, professional proofreading etc. These printing options are not necessarily the cheapest options. Try to see if you can get a cheaper printing cost by having your booklets and catalogs arrive at 7 days instead of 3 and by having no proofreading done at all (you should do that before sending your designs yourself). By smartly choosing the cheapest options you can save some more money in booklet printing easily. So those are the things I did that saved me a lot of money in booklet printing and catalog printing. They are simple tricks buy they do pile up to a lot of savings gained. Try them out!
