Your eyes may be the windows to your soul, but I think the one thing that a person owns that makes them feel the most self confident and assured, is a warm, white, straight, and perfect smile! I use to have one of those, but years of poor health and an inability to stay on top of my dental health through the years had taken from me the one thing that I felt was my best feature by far! It is also very surprising how this one thing that you no longer feel confident about in having, can also effect your general nature about the "you" you think others see. The loss of smile you can be proud of, is one of the most self esteem damaging things that can happen to a person. When you no longer have a white smile, or your are even missing a few teeth, and the ones you are left with are worn down to a very unnatural lack of shape, it is quite shocking how quickly and how low your self confidence can drop. Before this happened to me, I never gave a camera a second thought when someone was telling me to say "cheese". For the last 10 years at best however, I would do everything in my power to never find myself in that situation...even becoming the family photographer just to make sure that at the end of the day, I had the control of making sure that I was not going to be in any (if I had my way about it) pictures. Before I never gave it nary a second thought. A big beautiful smile was my trademark, and I never tired of people asking me "how long did you have to wear braces?" which I was proud to say "thank you, but I had never worn braces, I was one of the "lucky" ones". Well, when your luck turns, it is pretty shocking just how miserable and self loathing one can become. Teeth veneers are an amazing thing, and the power they hold in how quickly and thoroughly they can change a persons appearance is life altering. Now a movie star smile is something that is NOT reserved for just the "movie stars." Something this minute in size, is one of the most striking things a person can do to improve their looks. Indeed, to improve their very quality of life. By far it is the most non evasive form of medical magic that can do the most to make you feel more self confident, and give you the most self awareness and power. Smile and the world smiles with you, lose that smile and you suffer the most, often in silence. A smile is the most warming natural outer beauty feature that echos the brilliance of your inner beauty. If it takes veneers to correct and enhance your smile, then no matter the cost, the rewards are priceless and you will never regret making that decision to get them. Granted, your cheeks may hurt from all the smiling you will be doing then, but that is a blessing believe me.
