A recent new television show has pointed out that the reality dating shows of the past have always featured women who were a small size. They were skinny and looked as if a good strong wind could blow them over. But this new television show is giving plus sized women a chance to find a man who has never dated before, or who very rarely dates because of their size. Plus sized women usually get a bad rap when it comes to both dating and fashion. The world says that you have to be skinny in order to get what you want. But the fashion industry is doing what it can to change that. Here are some ways to be a plus sized fashionista. If you have: Large Hips- Stay away from mom jeans, fabrics that cling, cropped tops, or any type of tops that are going to be ending at your hips fullest point. Also avoid tailored jackets, boxy or white pleated skirts, and clothes with a lot of floral prints. You should stick to pants with wide legs, tailored jackets, and pencil skirts. Large Bust- After you get yourself a good bra, stick to scoop neck, wrap, or v-neck tops. Stay away from ruffles, skimpy tank tops, baggy tops, turtlenecks, and collars that have large lapels. Large Stomach In order to camouflage a large waist, you should stick with sheath dresses with empire tops, coats with a single breast, and clothing that is monochromatic. You should stay away from low-rise jeans, cropped tops, and tube dresses, all of which that will grip your stomach and emphasize it. Some final tips: Colors to choose for clothing: Even though everyone knows that black is very slimming, most don't know that you are going to get the same results with another dark color, such as blue or brown. You are going to find that you may be feeling better too if you replace some of your black clothes with something like blue or brown. Navy blue and brown are very popular colors in both the spring and the fall and they are going to flatter your figure and make you look thinner. Colors to stay away from: Pure white is a big no-no when it comes to choosing colors that will make you look thinner. White adds at least ten pounds to your figure, even when you aren't having your picture taken. These are the tips that you should remember when you are choosing your clothing to flatter your big, bold beautiful figure. Just because you are choosing clothing in a larger size it doesn't mean that you can't look good in it. All you have to know is how to choose the clothing that is going to show what you want and hide what you don't want to show.
