How To Bid On Bidstick

By: Best Auctions Home | Internet-and-Business | Auctions

Penny auctions are the newest craze in competitive online shopping. One such penny auction site, BidsTick.com, offers high-end items that range from premium electronics, to luxury goods. Getting started on the site is easy. Here's how.

1. The first thing you'll have to do is register. Most sites give away free bids to newly registered members, and BidsTick.com is no different. After signing up, you get 3 free bids, allowing you to try out the auctions and get a feel for the site.

2. After familiarizing yourself with BidsTick.com, you'll probably want to get into the game for real. All you have to do is purchase bids, which are sold in packs of 10 to 100. Each bid is priced at $1.00, but the larger the bid pack you purchase, the more free bids you get, saving you money in the process.

3. So now you start bidding. All auctions on BidsTick.com start at a penny, and come with a 'Tick Time'. Each bid raises the price of the item by one penny, and also resets the 'Tick Time', usually set at 1 to 3 minutes.

4. Auctions on BidsTick.com can last for hours, even days, depending on the level of bidding activity. The higher the value of an item, the more action-packed an auction will usually be. An auction ends when the timer runs out, with the last bidder winning the item. The winner will then only have to pay the final closing price of the auction, plus a flat shipping rate of $5.00.

5. Members can pay for their bids, wins, and shipping fees via PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Payments for won auctions have to be secured 30 minutes after the auction has closed, otherwise BidsTick.com will put the item up for auction without prior notice.
