Guaranteed to be a hit at your wedding will be edible wedding favors and they can be as easy to organize. You can of course provide savory favors which can be novel but the vast majority will prefer something sweet. Although it might not win any design awards, a nicely decorated, personalized wrapper covering a plain bar of candy, usually works well. I haven't come across many people that won't eat chocolate in any of its varieties especially if it has a special flavored center. Many people may eat the chocolate at the wedding but will probably keep any packaging that it comes in, as a souvenir. It is not unusual to see a picture of the happy couple on this sort of wrapper or even a presentation box. Another edible wedding favor option is to use tins of candy instead of bars for couples that want to try something different. These tins become mementos of the big day if the bride and groom have gone to the trouble of having the wedding details placed on every tin. The guests may eat the candy soon after the wedding but they can keep the candy tin as a reminder of your wedding; they can use it to store other small items such as change, sewing needles, rubber bands or virtually anything which is small enough to be stored in them. Almost everyone likes candy and that is why such a large percentage of weddings feature it as their edible wedding favor. One option that is growing in popularity is the use of large glass bowls containing the bride and grooms own favorite types of candy. You can give each of your guests a small container which matches the theme of the wedding such as a sand pail for a beach themed wedding or anything else which is appropriate. You can guarantee it won't take long before the guests start filling their boxes with the candy. If you are looking for a different edible wedding favor idea then why not try arranging for the guests to have cookies instead of candy. By using plain cookies, it is easy to present them in a nice box with the bride and grooms names plus the date and location of the wedding. Why not place an image of the happy couple with the wedding details directly onto the face of the cookie to add a finishing touch. Cookies can be baked in a variety of shapes so all that needs to be done is to supply a picture for them to imprint. For something a little out of the ordinary why not try the unusual edible wedding favors of cocoa, coffee or tea. You can select specialty cocoas, teas or coffees or you can have the packaging customized to include your picture, an appropriate quotation, poem or other message related to loves and weddings. A picture and other wedding information can also be placed on the box or container because it adds that touch of individuality. These are just a few gift ideas for your guests, I'm sure you can think of more if these do not interest you.
