By: mikej Home | Health-and-Fitness | Nutrition

Eating high cholesterol food is dangerous to our health. This can cause stroke, heart attacks and other cardiovascular diseases. There is high blood pressure when our hearts are overworked in the distribution of blood in our body. There is a problem in the circulation of blood because of clogged arteries which can reduce blood flow or stop blood for passing freely to the heart.

There are three different and natural ways of fighting high blood pressure. These are eating balanced and healthy diet, daily exercise and transcendental meditation.

It is advisable to eat lesser fats and more minerals, antioxidants, vitamins and fiber. These are necessary in the preparation of high blood pressure diet. Garlic has long been used to treat high blood pressure. However, garlic thins the blood. So, it has negative effects with the doctor’s prescribed medications. This should be discontinued in case a person is scheduled for surgery.

Fish oil has proven to have a mild effect on overall blood pressure. It is believed that the key ingredient in fish oil, the Omega 3 fatty acids, lessens the symptoms of hypertension, reduce inflammation and cholesterol levels. The next substance that has shown to have an effect on the reduction and prevention of high blood pressure is folic acid or vitamin B9.

Natural treatments for high blood pressure also include lifestyle changes. These are changes in the daily diet as well as daily activities. Regular exercise and proper diet are very important for heart health. Alternative medicinal treatments like deep-breathing, relaxation and biofeedback have proven effective in naturally treating high blood pressure. Whatever it is, whether changing your diet to a low cholesterol one or having regular exercise good results can be seen sooner or later. This can work to everybody in terms of lowering high blood pressure.

Treating high blood pressure in a natural way is costless. No need of maintaining any medications or taking prescribed drugs. This is way better and you can have a normal blood pressure the rest of your life if you continue with it. To others, this might be a difficult process yet enthusiasm and determination are important. Further, these natural treatments can give significant improvement to your health.
Transcendental meditation is another natural remedy for high blood pressure. This makes the body muscles more relax. This is just a simple activity which you can do it for twenty minutes. Doing this activity by closing your eyes and sitting comfortably makes you also feel better. This is similar to deep breathing exercise. Here, you can also close your eyes, make your mind empty focusing on the word or phrase you utter. This has multiple effects. It does not only lower blood pressure and prevent hypertension but it can lower psychological distress, depression and anxiety. It also has bolstered their coping ability as well as improves mental health. .
All these natural treatments combined can help fight high blood pressure.
