By far the most important aspect of losing weight and getting your ideal body size is to have a diet that causes you to burn more than you put on. If you do this daily over even a short period of time there can be very visible results very quickly. The myth however is that by starving yourself you are somehow doing your body a favor and increasing your metabolism, this could not be further from the truth. The obliques are the two large muscles on either side of the waist, but I do not recommend directly training these muscles because they are already affected by a variety of movements, as well as the abdominal and especially because its development would be to widen the waist line; this is something that anyone who wants a small waist would want to avoid. If you have a treadmill or go to a gym that has treadmills, walk on them. But incline them first. Even a slight incline of 15 degrees creates a massive tidal wave of fat loss. Don't be under the assumption that normal flat surface walking is the same as incline walking. NOT EVEN CLOSE. Do it once and you'll be a believer. I have been working my biceps like crazy.
