Travel Agents A travel agent can help you to save quite a good deal of money on your air fare. Using a travel agent can provide you with a number of benefits you would otherwise miss out on if you were to plan your vacation on your own. The experience of travel agents has allowed them to create good relationships with other companies involved in travel. They can get special deals on airline fares, hotel reservations, and any other tickets or reservations you might need such as reservations to theme parks or restaurants you plan to visit during your stay. In some cases, traveling on the exact day of the holiday (Dec. 25, Dec 31, Jan 1) will be relatively cheap as well, because most people prefer to be home with their families. But that means that you'll be traveling on Christmas or new years day. But if it works out for you, that's great!
