How To Get Free Electricity And Help The Environment Too!

By: dean ash Home | Health-and-Fitness | Pollution

There's no doubt anymore (except from those who bury their heads in the sand) that both global warming and the energy crisis are getting worse at an alarming rate. Most of the countries around the world have begun to implement measures to reduce our individual carbon footprints, recycle more and look into the viability of alternative fuels.
The real problem is that we are just not doing enough as individuals. Recycling is an ever present weekly occurrence in my native Britain, but despite the way it has been enforced, there is still a mass of recyclable material that misses the recycling bins and ends up in the regular bin. Now there are several reasons for this, one of those reasons is quite frankly - the fussiness of the recycling collectors.
Now I am not going to rant on and blame them for the lack of recycling. I can relate to both sides of the argument because I have worked on the recycling wagons as a collector. The ongoing issue is about what condition the recyclable material should be in when it is ready for collection.
To give you an example: The beer cans haven't been washed out properly or the food cans haven't been rinsed through etc. Now as a former bin man I can relate to how horrible this is to come across a stinking/filthy/wet bin, I used to come home smelling like a fisherman who'd been drowned in alcohol. Despite this; I considered getting this material to the recycling plant to be more important than a little discomfort throughout my working day. Nowadays if they don't like how your bin is filled they don't empty it. Does a sewage man refuse to go into the sewer because it's dirty or smelly?
Recycling issues are just the "tip-of-the-iceberg" though. The biggest threat has to be the pollution, now obviously there are a countless number of things that cause pollution but not the least of these is fuel or energy related. Gradually there are more and more companies waking up to this and beginning to implement greener solutions such as wind-farms, solar farms and hydro-electric farms.
The biggest problem with these companies in terms of obtaining customers is the cost factor. Unfortunately paying these companies for use of their environmentally friendly energy is considerably more costly than regularly sourced fuel.
For the past few years however; visionary engineers/mechanics and the like, have been coming up with ways and solutions that enable us to build and maintain our own little power supply without expert knowledge and without spending ridiculous amounts of money, did you know for example that You can use a simple step-by-step guide to build your own electricity generator to power your house and it doesn't use any form of fuel. It uses perpetual motion magnetic energy - if you want to find out more about this and how to go about building your own wind turbine or solar panels - go to this informative blog see my author's bio for the link.
