If you want to keep files private learning the right way to do it can be so important. You may be in the middle of a divorce and want computer privacy so you can keep your details from your partner to avoid any further difficulties. Perhaps you have photographs or E mail or something very personal which you do not want anyone else seeing or it's information about your new girlfriend or boyfriend and would upset your old partner or it's information which in the wrong hands could cause you serious problems. It may even be sensitive information about your income or other important details, which you are trying to keep private and out of sight or away from prying eyes as they say. Whatever the reason, you need to be sure that your information stays under your control, and that you can rest easy knowing that your computer privacy is assured. There are a few things you can do to keep things safe and secure and avoid upsetting anyone. The first thing you can do is keep all of your private details into a single file and keep the file on a special disc which you can load it into and out of the computer each time you use it. Of course, this is very difficult to successfully do. It's a certainty that at some point you will leave the thing behind. All your work has been in vain and all your secrets revealed. The other method is to use software to password protect the files. This works exceptionally well, unless of course your passwords are uncovered. If someone can guess your passwords then once again you are in trouble. The best technique by far, is encryption or potentially even deletion. This makes you're information impossible to access for anyone other than yourself especially if it's properly ereased. It's recoverable unless properly erased! If you have photographs which you'd like to keep private or Email or any other kind of data, encryption will make it impossible for anyone to access it, Provided that the software is effective and up to date. If it's an effective software solution, then it should be almost impossible for anyone including all but the most sophisticated software companies in the world to gain access. If it's an effective solution, then it will cost any interested snoopers many thousands to get around it and uncover your information. I think that is by far the very safest way to keep your files private. We all know that nothing is 100 per cent impenetrable, but the closer you can get to it the better. No point upsetting people when you're in the middle of the worst time of your life. Keep your details to yourself with proper computer privacy and make sure that you are keeping files private, if the contents of those files will upset or annoy someone.
