You can use perfumes and deodorants/antiperspirants at the same time on your body. If you are worried that your deodorants smell will overpower your perfumes scent, do not be. Deodorants indeed help increase your perfumes effect by removing the unwanted body odor. 3. Moisture prolongs the effect of a perfume. Perfumes work best in environments that are moist. Thus if you have dry skin, you must put on some moisture to improve its moisture content. Choosing a moisturizing cream that has a similar smell as that of your perfume will help increase your perfume’s effect. Make sure to spray perfume in common pressure points like neck, wrists and back of your knees. These pressure points remain moist enough to give your perfume scent a long lasting effect.
