How To Pick Google Adsense Topics, To Convert Your Ad Cents Into Ad Dollars!

By: Isaac Alston Home | Internet-and-Business

Choosing the correct topics is the difference between winning and failure when it concerns Adsense You're getting ready to learn how the gurus decide on topics for their Adsense sites.

Initially there are a couple tools that are necessary some charge a fee and some don't. Depending on your budget pick the one that suits your needs. The only difference between the tool you pay for and the one that is free is Wordtracker charges a fee and eliminates some of the Manual work. No matter which tool you choose to use they both work well. Tracking keywords with either will get the job done.

Let's pretend you're going to use yahoo search marketing tool which is free. When you get there you would click on resources. Find the keywords select tool. Type your keywords in. The keywords tool will give you how many searches were made for the key word for the previous month.

Just finding the most frequently search for keywords isn't enough. Once you have found and made a good list of keywords, you have in your in your grasp is the words people use when searching. The next part is to find out how valuable these keywords are. Not all the keywords you will discover will be profitable. And if you want to obtain a full time living from Adsense you need high paying keywords.

Here is where you start to earn your keep. Assuming you have a Google Adwords account. (If you don't you have to open one.) The Adwords account allows you to see what sponsors are paying to get the top position in the search engines for their keywords. Go to your Google account, if you don't have one register for one. Click on tools then find keyword tool and click on it. Submit your keywords and than in the box below select cost and ad position estimates. Next enter $5.00 in the last box and click calculate. Google will display possible keywords based on the keywords you entered Next to each key word you'll see the estimated average cost per click CPC and the estimated position.

Because Google is always tweaking their programs I'm not going to give you an actual example from the Internet there developing all the time. However I am sure CPC cost per click and ad position estimates will remain constant. You want to view your CPC and have positioned estimates. The keywords that fall within the top five positions. So let's say an advertiser pays $3.50 per click on his Adwords account, and that gets him in the top five positions. What you should look to get from the having someones ad on your site should be about 25 to 35 percent. Now this is just an example that should be used as a guide or range only. Google has a way of working in their own way so just follow their guidelines and you'll be fine.
