How do you avoid the scams and find a plan that works? Just when you think you've seen every scheme and scam on the internet there's always another one. Those multi-level matrix deals, free affiliate programs and recruitment programmes. They promise tons of money and just focus on getting rich quick!. If you want to know what works, look at who's making money, who's successful, and see what they do. Not just what they say they do, but what they actually do do! Affiliates and Ebooks Two things online make money for sure. A specialist Ebook, well written, and properly promoted or a talented affiliate who can really sell a range of other people's products. The hardest thing to do is to write your own Ebook and start selling it, especially if you are just getting started. So here's a success strategy: Start by selling other people's products. While you're selling their products and learning the ropes of selling online, start creating your own product. 3 steps to selling How do you start selling other people's products? First, you must discover what products are good and which aren't (you don't want to promote products that don't work). Second, you must discover which products pay and which do not. You need to know not only what the commission will be on each sale but also whether or not you will actually get the money. The only way to find out for sure is to send some traffic to an affiliate site and see what happens. Third, you must get traffic to your site and your affiliate links. Test it! How do you determine which are good affiliate products and which aren't? Simple: Buy the product. Read it, try it out, see if it is worth what you paid for it and ask yourself if you could honestly promote that product. If it is everything the sales page promised it to be, then it passed the first test. Get Paid! How do you find out how much it pays? (and if you are certain to receive your money!) Go to the affiliate section of the product web site and you should be able to see what it pays. Deciding if you will actually receive the commissions you earn is a tougher issue. See if you can find complaints online. (Google, of course!) Keep in mind, everyone tends to get a few complaints, especially if they are doing much business at all. So read the complaints, and get a feel for the company. One or two complaints are a normal result of doing business but if there are lots of them, and on the same theme (not getting paid), forget it! Choose three or four products to promote first. If you've done your research, at least some of them should pay as promised. Once you know which affiliate programs are working for you, making a good return on each lead, you can concentrate on promoting the ones that are more profitable. Yes, you're going to have to work at it, but once you get a good quality & profitable collection of products to sell you'll start to see a worthwile return on all that time and effort. Create your own product. Once you're up and running as an affiliate you can start creating your own products. There are many resources online to teach you how to do that and give you great ideas. Once you have your product and sales page generated, start rotating it in with your affiliate links. If at first it doesn't sell well, you may need to tweak your sales page. Remember, it probably won't perform as well as your affiliate sites at first because they've had more time to get the sales page right. Now get to work!
