There are many causes for split-ends. One of the main causes for split ends is the amount of time an individual goes in-between hair cuts. For healthy, shiny looking locks an individual should receive a hair cut every six weeks. Once an individual knows how to treat and prevent split ends then the individual will notice a dramatic change in the health of their hair. Hair that does not contain split ends looks shinier, fuller and healthier. It is important to take care of your hair on a daily basis.
