How To Use Italian Food On Your Dates

By: Dalvin Rumsey Home | Home-and-Family

When eating Italian food out on a date, you must absolutely obey some simple manners, so that your date will not get a bad impression about you. It is very important to at least know these things, and maybe someday you will thank me for it!

Especially on a first date, eating manners are the ones that can sometimes turn off your date so badly, that he or she will never want to date you again. So, you must by all means try to eat nicely, and not like a pig or the way you use to eat when you are home alone. The way you eat at a date shows the respect you have for the person you are dating.

From my experience as an Italian food fan, I can tell that in any restaurant I may go, there are many people who use to stuff a fork full of pasta into their mouths , bit off the strands with their teeth and let the remainder of the pasta fall into their plate. This is not a good thing to do, but they seem to not care about it, even I saw them sitting at the tables with beautiful dates. These poor people had most certainly become single again after such an event. Eating without thinking about manners not only turns off the date, but also makes you look like a pig!

Another small tip: never wear a white shirt when eating pasta, as the chances of getting the sauces on your shirt are very high!

If you don't want to feel bad in front of your date when eating pasta, you must apply the "Twirling Method" that I will present from now on.

The first step is to grab just a few strands of your pasta with your fork and twirl the strands using the end of your fork against your plate. This is the correct way to get a bite size portion to put right into your mouth. Should you wish to use a spoon along with the fork, put pasta in your spoon you are holding in your left hand, and twirl your fork around the pasta in the spoon and take a bite size portion.

This is all there is! Simple and easy to keep in mind. But remember that practice is always the key to perfection.! So, enjoy your pasta and use what I have taught you!
