Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard were two class fellows who laid the foundation of worlds renowned company Hewlett Packard in 1939. They studied together in Stanford University. They introduced audio oscillator as the first product of the company. It was an electronic test instrument used by sound engineers and was produced in a Palo Alto garage. Basically, HPs printer toner is a special sort of powder that is usually used in laser printers, fax machines and photocopiers. A printer toner can also be called laser toner cartridge. The powder inside these toner cartridges makes the printed text and prints images on the paper. It used to be plain carbon powder in the beginning. As the times passed, improvements were made to enhance the print quality. The carbon powder was melt-mixed with a polymer, in the form of some oil or wax added to the powder. The toner particles inside the toner cartridge are melted by the heat of the fuser and the wax mixed powder sticks to the paper. The particles of the laser toner cartridges are very tiny and small. In earlier printers and copiers, the carbon powder was poured into a reservoir inside the machine by the user itself while these days machines are directly fed from a sealed printer toner cartridges. Also, empty laser toner cartridges are refilled by third-party vendors. How to Clean-UP a Printer Toner? If accidently a printer toner sticks to your skin or garment, you can remove it with cold water. Hot or warm water can melt the toner powder and it will stay on the place. On skin it can be removed with any soap or so because it leaves the skin eventually. But the mark of powder of toner cartridge cannot be removed from a fabric because it has the wax mixed with the powder which is hard to leave.
