I Want To Get Her Back †What Not To Say†Ever!

By: Cory Jean Home | News-and-Society | Relationships

If your trying to get your ex back and it seems like you just can’t say anything right, well†welcome to the club! Seriously, this isn’t anything unusual and right now your ex is going to try to twist and contort everything that you say to further frustrate you and make you just quit trying to get her back.

While it’s not really that hard to get your ex back I am sure that from your point of view you’re wondering if it’s about time to give up and move on. But anything worth having is worth suffering a bit for and your relationship with your ex is no exception. So, to keep you from really screwing up here are a few topics that you should avoid until things cool off a bit.

Her Cycle †Avoid any talk of her monthly cycle, the full moon and how this may be enhancing her cycle or the period of time just previous to her cycle. This type of stuff, although it is a known fact and one that she knows even herself, will only make things worse.

Your quiet acceptance of the typical abuse and range of emotions â€from time to time†is just part of being in a relationship sometimes. As a hint, knowing when that time is coming up and being a little nicer; a little more thoughtful; a little more caring can win you big bonus points. Pointing it out can win you a woman with an icicle where her heart used to be.

Mothers †Don’t ever mention that she is just like her mother or that your mother told you â€blah blah blahâ€. Any mention of mothers other than asking her how her mother IS is unacceptable and will only fuel the fires of hostility during your breakup and lengthen the duration of your breakup. Mothers in general are just a touchy subject.

Of course, once you do get back together you can get brownie points by buying her a Mother’s Day card or gift from your future children. This is a sneaky trick but it is something to look forward to that will tell her that you are serious about your relationship and that you are a thoughtful, caring guy that is thinking of being with her forever.

Anything That She Ever Said †Reminding her of just about anything that she ever said, both good and bad, is a bad move during a breakup. While tensions are still high and she is resistant to the idea of getting back together, reminding her that she said that she loved you or that she would never breakup with you is just a bad idea.

Reminding her of nice things and even mean things that she did to you will only come back on you and give her ammo to further mess you up. Don’t give her this ammo. Don’t give her this power. Once she does start to come back around though, gentle reminders of good times and happy memories can start the ball rolling in a more positive direction if you know what you’re doing.

During times when you might feel like lashing out and pointing out certain â€facts†about your relationship just resist the urge. Nothing good will come of it and it will only fuel the fire that is your breakup right now. Live to fight another day and let the stuff roll off your back.
