Yes, even if you are suffering from what has been termed as permanent hearing loss, hearing aids can help. For example, the implanted bone conduction hearing aids can come very handy for people suffering from permanent hearing loss. But of course, only use this as a last resort. Many children who hitherto couldn't attend school because of hearing problems can now get the same benefit as completely normal kids because of hearing aids. So, gone are those days when kids with hearing problems can't attend normal classes. All you need to do is talk to your audiologist about your child's problem. The solution is closer than you think. Many people who have used digital hearing aids say that the best reason they have for loving the digital hearing aids include the fact that they don't have to manually adjust the volume. With digital hearing aids, the sound level is able to adjust itself automatically, without human intervention.
