Exercise is considered essential as part of a healthy lifestyle and this comes as no surprise when you weigh up the benefits to your health via regular exercise. For a start taking part in regular exercise can maintain overall fitness as well as manage weight loss but it can also lower the risk of many life threatening illnesses. Regular exercise is a critical part of staying healthy. People who are active live longer and feel better. Exercise can help people maintain a healthy weight. It can delay or prevent diabetes, some cancers and heart problems. A regular exercise regime undertaken three to four times a week tones and conditions our muscles, stabilises our joints and is good for our cartilage, ligaments and bones. After stretching, twenty minutes of aerobic activity such as running or walking will burn calories and improve your cardiovascular health. Finally, cool down by performing a few more stretches. Add a few minutes of weight lifting or resistance training to your routine for improved strength and endurance. Cardiovascular conditioning is the best way for exercising to lose weight. Anything that involves movements that make you sweat while making two or more of your limbs (arms or legs) physically work is a good way for exercising to burn calories.
