These types of team building events play a major role in understanding others way of thinking and working. A very common team building event is personal introduction of every team member. In this type of event, team leader can ask his all team members to stand in circle and start introducing himself by telling briefly about his life. At some point it becomes necessary for team leader to start the introduction from his own introduction. This common and effective team activity fades away all types of hesitation and shyness from the team members. This introduction activity will go a long way in achieving team goals. Another common corporate event or one may categorized it as an icebreaking event is making pairs of different individuals. It works more effectively if members of pair don't each other or never met before. Each pair be given a time, say 10 minutes, to introduce him or her to other partner. After their allotted time, their task is to introduce the other partner to the team in best possible way without hiding or putting any extra about his or her partner. It does not matter that both member of a pair is from the same gender or from the opposite side of gender. A corporate entertainment does not mean that company has to spare a huge amount to spend a large amount of finance. It can be done within the office limits by organizing a music concert but musicians may be taken from the teams. By this a team leader will not only be able to explore the hidden strengths of his team member but it will also boost the moral of the team members and also it will also motivate the team members and encourage them to take initiative in their professional life as well.
