Decorating with Silk Topiaries Just as in art, the way things are spaced in interior design is critical to a well-balanced appearance. When you add topiaries to the area you are enhancing, be sure there is enough â€breathing room†for the plants. Also, it is helpful to experiment with some of the many designs and sizes of topiaries that exist. One design that usually complements office areas involves taller, rounded plants. We also recommend that you choose a silk topiary. This way you will not have to worry about water, bugs, or plan food. Another place where the benefits of silk plants will be helpful is your church. Silk topiaries come in all shapes and sizes, ranging from very small (such as the bonsai plant) to quite largeâ€"they can rival the tallest and best Christmas tree! Be creative in your choice of topiaries and what you use to decorate with them! Decorating for the Winter Season Every season or climate has its own special elements that make it unique. Keep in mind as you decorate with plants and other foliage how the changes in weather and temperature will affect them. Some of the most popular items to use in winter decorations are evergreens, branches (sometimes frosted), and that special selection of wintry seasonal flowers. Of course, decorations tied to the Christmas season play a major role in winter decorations. You can use many of these items, with small changes or embellishments, throughout the winter season. Using Hanging Plants as Interior Dcor Hanging plants are a great way to decorate any homeâ€"be it a spacious house or a small dorm room. It is nice to have a good variety of plants in your homeâ€"different sizes and different placements make the whole area seem fresh and outdoorsy. Most often hanging plants get placed in a corner of the room, which is a great way to spruce up some of the more neglected, dusty areas of your house. They also do not get in anyone’s way. It is important to hang your plant correctly so that it does not someday crash to the floor. You will want to find a strong hook that can be adhered in some way to a ceiling beam if you are planning to hang a heavier, denser plant. For lighter, smaller plants, plastic and wooden hooks are usually fine, and you can often just screw them in where you want. There are many different sizes and shapes and styles of hanging plants, so look around for the designs you like best. You can opt for a live plant or a silk one. Using Artificial Grasses as Decorations If you are just beginning to delve into the world of interior decorating, it might be worth your while to study some of the different arrangements and styles of silk greenery that exist. If you plan to have a Western or desert-like element to your house, or to one of the rooms, you might want to consider silk grass arrangements. Much smaller than artificial trees, silk grass decorations are comparable to flower displays. Not only do silk grasses work well on their own, they also make great ornaments for bigger plants and trees. Silk grass works very well with water fountains or in windowsills. Choosing to use silk grasses allows you to step outside the typical decorative modes and try something new and invigorating. After all, the more styles you try, the more likely you are to find just the right look for each corner of your home.
