Indian Marriage And Its Ritual

Indian marriage is one of the best marriage ceremonies in whole world because is the most colorful and has many rituals that are taken place. India has got myriad of culture, tradition which makes it unique and diverse country. So it’s obvious that India has got wide range of culture and tradition the wedding ceremony also will be grand.

Indian marriage consists of various rituals and lends special significance to the occasion of the wedding. These marriage rituals are evolving from ancient times. There are various rituals that takes place during marriage and various religion and caste have different ritual. But the celebration of the marriage remains the same. Indian marriages are the known as the most ritualistic and serious ceremony, which can’t be seen in any other marriage.

Indian marriage is not only about celebration but also about meeting of two souls and promising of living happily each other. Indian marriage is largely associated with Hindu culture but it also has the combination of seven other religions like Jain, Jewish, Islam, Zorastriam, Sikhism, Buddhism and Christianity. However, there are different kinds of Indian marriage that take place but the display, commitment and emotion remains the same.

Mentioned below are different rituals of different religion in Indian marriage:
â€Arya Samaj Wedding: This samaj belongs to Buddhism and the marriage also in the type of Buddhism. It entirely common to Hindu Marriage.

â€Christian Wedding Ceremony: This community is the part of Indian culture. Though the population is very less compare Hindus and Muslims. But the impact of this community and its marriage ceremony is very deep.

â€Hindu Marriage: It is one of the important religion of all and the marriage in these religion is the most colorful with full of emotion. It is considered as the most religious and social affair.

â€Muslim Wedding Ceremony: The marriage ceremony in this religion comes down from Mughol rulers. Indian Muslims do follow the same custom of Nikah.

â€Facts of Indian Wedding: Indian wedding is the most fun filled and ritualistic ceremony in Hindu religion. It marks the new relationship of two new people who promise to be together forever. In Indian Marriage one can get to see various moments which are memorable.

â€Marriage legalities: Indian marriage can be incomplete without any legal law. There are some laws that are meant to be followed. Every religion in India has different legalities that are to be followed.

Indian marriage is known for its excellent preparation where bride and groom look best with their dressing. At the begging of the marriage there is a baraat of groom comes to the home of bride with his whole family and performs the further rituals.

In InIndian marriage , it takes month to complete the preparation for the wedding. There are many sections which takes place during marriages. In both bride and groom’s house celebrate some of the pre-marriage functions. The post-marriage consist of commitment, empathy and promises where from bride and groom side to make it ever lasting relation.
