Indianapolis Colts Tickets And Seating Chart

By: Gen Wright Home | Health-and-Fitness

For some, the mention of the Indianapolis Colts brings to mind only the Superbowl game in 2010 and the end results. For most others, however, this great team commanded the season with performance after performance that breathes life and reason into why so many fans love their Indianapolis Colts and stand behind them no matter what. According to Cols President Bill Polian, the 2009 season has been a memorable one. Polian is also quoted as saying "The season is over now. It's time to move forward". Truer words could not have been spoken in light of the epic travel to the Super Bowl by the Indianapolis Colts.

Typical South Florida heat was on hand during Super Bowl XLIV, held at Sun Life Stadium. To the amazement of some and expectation of others, the Indianapolis Colts finished the season without linebacker Tyjuan Hagler, wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez, reserve quarterback Jim Sorgi, cornerback Marlin Jackson, kicker Adam Vinatieri and two-time Pro Bowl Safety Bob Sanders. In reflection after the season, Polian speaks candidly about how the team managed through the series of injuries and how that the outcome of a trip to the Super Bowl was not one that many people would have wagered. With first year head coach Jim Caldwell giving an outstanding coaching performance at the same time, there's you question that the Indianapolis Colts have the stuff that winners are made of and now that the season is over, the players, coaches, staff and fans are ready to look forward to the upcoming season and places where opportunities will again about for this fantastic football club.

"We're on the way to dealing with 2010," Polian said and respectively, while there were many accolades and thanks to hand out for the 2009 season, the time is at hand to address those on the injury list, whom Polian expects back in action next season and to begin the strategies for a winning 2010 year.

Lucas Oil Stadium, located at 500 South Capitol Avenue in Indianapolis, Indiana is the home of the Indianapolis Colts. Opened in 2008, it has been the home to the Indianapolis Colts since that time. It is also home to the IHSAA (football state finals) ISSMA (band state finals) , Drum Corps International (2009-2013 and 2015-2018), Bans of America and many other sports events both present and future scheduled. With a seating capacity of 70,000, FieldTurf surface and a construction cost of $720 million, Lucas Oil Stadium is affectionately referred to in some circles as Los, the Luke, Peyton's Place or The Drum.

The retractable roof, which was designed by Uni-Systems, uses 32 cables that were made specifically for this project. The roof peak stands at 288 feet above the stadium's floor, making the view from above simply splendid when there's acceptable weather and the roof can be opened or breathtaking when in climate weather prevents the roof opening.

There are many different seating options at Lucas Oil Stadium. For those who want to experience an Indianapolis Colts home game in luxury, club seats make the smart choice. There are two levels in the club seating areas located between the 20-yard lines. Guests will be blown away by the optimal site lines and luxurious treatment. Exciting amenities include prime seat locations, padded 21 inch seats with extra leg room, club lounge access, catering food stations, VIP entrances, discounts at the Pro Shop and much, much more.

For those who have less than caviar budgets, there are many other seating choices that also offer excellent sites at a price that won't break your budget or thrust you into the poorhouse. Whether you prefer seats near the Lucas Oil Gate or one of the other gates, there's perfect selections at various price ranges.
