Infertility Problems - Sperm Donation Can Be The Solution

By: Co-Parents.net Home | Health-and-Fitness | Alternative-Medicine

We often find many singles, couples or lesbian women having infertility problems though they have gone through all the medical tests and treatments. Research has proven that there are numerous reasons responsible for infertility such as hormonal disorders, numerous illnesses and reproductive anatomical obstruction, whatever the reason sperm donation can be an answer to the male infertility.

What Is Sperm Donation: Sperm donation is a donation by a man known as "sperm donor" of his sperm with the intention that it be used to impregnate a woman or women who want to be a single mother, lesbian women, or couples having fertility problems.

In order to conceive by sperm donation, there is a process called "artificial insemination". In this fertilization process the donated sperm is artificially placed in to the woman's cervix (intracervical insemination) or uterus (intrauterine insemination). Woman's menstrual cycle is closely observed during the artificial insemination treatment by blood tests, ovarian kits or ultrasounds. The semen is washed in the laboratory to remove the undesired chemicals before the implant; this process improves the chances of fertilization.

How to find a sperm donor: Do consult your doctor to make an assessment of your present situation. They can suggest a good sperm bank near you. Sperm banks are a good way to find an anonymous sperm donor. An anonymous sperm donor is perhaps the most common choice and sperm banks are the best resource for it. On the other hand one can find a sperm donor by joining a reliable sperm donation website or sperm donor forum. Many websites are available on the internet which provides an online platform to communicate with thousands of people from all over the world, heterosexual or homosexual, who wish to raise a child by sperm donation.

Most of the sperm donor forum integrated with "sperm donor search tools" which lets you knows about the sperm donor such as age, gender and country. These websites update their sperm donor database on a regular basis, so that the sperm donor search helps you to find the known or anonymous sperm donor you want.

There are ample of online communities and groups to help anyone who is looking for sperm donor or wants to find a sperm donation, a surrogate or a co-parent to have a child. Communicating with other people in such situation will not only prepare you for the process but it will give you a mental ease as well. If you have any queries, you can contact your doctor or these websites before engaging in any activity related to sperm donation.
