It is possible to go for the pinch construction of pottery items like plates, glasses, jars, pots, vases, and wall plates using pinch construction method. But with the potter’s wheel in place, the importance of the method has gone down. Yet when used with precision the method can still create great items that would be as decorative and entertaining as any of the best created with the wheel method.

Pinch Pot Creation
Before going for pinch pot creation, it is necessary to understand what the method really is and what it contains. In fact, it is one of the most direct methods that are used by potters to create innovative clay items. It is just a method of pushing the clay and creating different items which means that the potter is creating the pottery items by using pinching methods. Tactile Sensitivity
Usually the pinching clay method is based on tactile sensitivity. Making innovative plates, jars, stands, or other items becomes far too easier with such tactile sensitivity.
