3. Do a bit of exercising before bed. If you work in an office, where exercise is not necessary to do your job, you are more susceptible to insomnia than those that are physically required to work. For this reason, you need to do 15-25 minutes of exercising before bed in order to give your body the oxygen it needs. The more oxygen your body has, the easier it will be for you to sleep better.

4. Stick to a regular sleeping pattern. Keeping a pattern of sleep is essential to getting enough rest each night. By keeping a good sleep routine -- waking up around the same time and going to bed around the same time -- your body won't have any trouble identifying when it is time to sleep and when it is time to get up. Constantly switching your sleeping routine is a sure-fire way to insomnia and sleep problems.
