For instance, getting 10,000 hits to your website really won't help you much, because those hits are not targeted traffic. Stick To the Proven Methods If you want to work at home, and get your own business going to where you can enjoy the profits, the easiest way is to stick with proven methods, and to create residual income. Residual income is money that keeps on flowing in from a transaction in the past. Selling a product is a one-time transaction. Selling a service, like an ISP, is residual income in that it will allow you to get income on a regular basis, from the same people. Here are some of the proven methods you can use in your Internet marketing program: o Create a newsletter and make your list o Write content articles and distribute them for free o Post your material on blogs o Get inbound links o Pay per click search engines While there are some other proven methods, these are the main ones.
