Internet Potencia El Turismo Rural En Espa'a

MADRID.- octubre de 2010 †Las estadsticas de homeaway.es, el portal espaol del Grupo HomeAway, lder mundial en alquiler de vacaciones a travs de internet, sealan que cada vez ms propietarios de casas rurales en Espaa optan por el portal para dar a conocer sus propuestas a travs internet.

En apenas siete meses de operatividad -inici sus operaciones en nuestro pas el pasado mes de marzo- el nmero de casas rurales disponibles en el portal se ha multiplicado por 20, hasta superar las 2.000 referencias. Un indicador que, segn Laura Rivera Casares, responsable de homeaway.es, â€responde a la cada vez mayor confianza que los propietarios y gestores de casas rurales depositan en los portales profesionalizados, ya que evitan sorpresas tanto para ellos como para los viajeros. El alquiler de vacaciones en general y, especialmente, el que se refiere a turismo rural, est siendo enormemente potenciado en Espaa gracias a las ventajas que aporta internetâ€.

Los alojamientos rurales de Catalua, Baleares y Andaluca son los que mayor presencia tienen en el portal, con un 37%, 25% y 20% respectivamente. Cindonos al porcentaje de demandas por parte de los viajeros, son los alojamientos rurales ubicados en Andaluca los ms requeridos, con ms del 51% de las consultas totales entre el 1 de marzo y el 15 de septiembre de este ao. Dentro de la Comunidad Autnoma andaluza, las provincias de Cdiz, Mlaga y Almera han sido las ms consultadas durante ese periodo.

Ms ventajas para los propietarios
Una de las grandes ventajas que encuentran los propietarios de casas rurales al utilizar el portal para dar a conocer sus alojamientos estriba en la enorme visibilidad que estos ganan de forma automtica tanto en Espaa como en los portales que el grupo tiene desplegados en 13 pases, en 11 idiomas, lo que abre enormemente las posibilidades de alquiler en caso de que opten por esta opcin. Segn los datos de HomeAway, los propietarios europeos que utilizan los portales del grupo logran alquilar sus casas durante una media de entre 18 y 20 semanas al ao, lo que les genera unos ingresos que pueden alcanzar una media anual de 13.000 euros.
