You also need to know wedding gifts and favors that are common with Irish traditional weddings. A horse-shoe shaped gift is a definite yes as it traditionally denoted blessings and fertility. A bouquet of wild flowers might also catch your guests unawares in a pleasant manner. The main thing to understand and put into account in culturally themed weddings is how to go about it. Read and research on it well in advance so that it turns as perfect as you envision it. But always choose the best of cultural aspects as some may be currently viewed as repugnant or extremely patriarchal and chauvinistic towards women.
