Another form of body piercing jewelry that is immensely popular is called captive bead rings. This is known as one of the newer styles or techniques of body piercing jewelry. They are very handy as this piece of jewelry can be used as earrings, eyebrow rings and even as nipple rings. It is not complicated to use as and very easy to clean. You can get this jewelry piece in various colors and sizes and you can have them made from any material you like. If you like, body piercing but you do not want to make it too obvious that you can opt for retainers. Retainers are also a type of body piercing jewelry but they are made from clear acrylic. Since the material is clear like glass, it will not be so noticeable to others. You have to be careful though because acrylic can cause infection if the pierced area is not fully healed. Body piercing jewelry is not popular among those who are more into elegant jewelry. It is more popular among teenagers and young adults and very rarely among older men or women. However, it is still an essential part to the world of jewelry and will continue to flourish with more unique designs and styles
