Joe Biden The Presumptive Vice Prophet - Crystal Ball In The White House?

By: Rev Michael Bresciani Home | News-and-Society | Politics

Only the presumption exceeds the prophecy in arrogance with still two weeks till the final vote perhaps Joe Biden’s confidence comes from a star passing too close to his dream of power. Talking about the details of the unknown is pompous enough but before the American people have had their say at the polls makes Biden look more puffed than prognostica-torial.

"Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking," Biden said.

"Remember I said it standing here, if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy. And he's gonna have to make some really tough -- I don't know what the decision's gonna be, but I promise you it will occur. As a student of history and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it's gonna happen," Fox News, Mon Oct, 20 2008

Such a wild prediction raises more questions than it answers not least of which are; where did he get this prophetic utterance. Was it a crystal ball, a dream in the night, a voice in his head, without the slightest hint of sarcasm there must be thousands of Americans wondering about the source of Biden’s eerie proclamation?

It seemed almost comical to see respected anchors and pundits filling the evening reports with discussion and debate about Biden’s look into the future. They discussed it like it was a foregone. Again the questions it raises are too many to ignore.

The first question might be; was it a typical campaign device to compare Obama with John Kennedy? With a race this close shouldn’t someone tell Joe that almost half of America’s voters see Kennedy and Obama about as far apart as the east is from the west? Some may even believe the comparison is insulting.

The only thing more presumptuous than Biden’s prophecy may be his boasting. He is quick to tell his audiences that he may have forgotten more about foreign policy than most people will ever know. Did he learn soothsaying while he was out there garnering his experience and why haven’t we heard of this sooner.

I have not served seven presidents but only one sovereign God and I have seen dreams, hundreds of them, visions and voices not a few and after careful comparison to the biblical record I can offer a prophecy too.

I predict that if Barack Obama is elected it will be the American people that will have their mettle tested not Mr. Obama. The change they voted for will seem â€all good†for the honeymoon period but larger changes than ever anticipated will follow bringing grave doubts along with them.

They will bite the bullet at first and wait for their â€anointed†leader to take them through the crisis. But like so many before him they will eventually begin to doubt but all too late.

I also can predict that if ever their was one person who might consider giving up America’s sovereignty to a world government it is Barack Obama. Whether it is intentional or simply the result of bungling the outcome will be the same; one world government, one world economy, one world leader, the antichrist.

For forty years now I have warned that unlike any other despot or dictator before him the antichrist does something the others never thought of, the difference is what gets him all the way to becoming the world’s supreme authority. He gathers the nations under one roof not through warfare but through the economy.

Here we are so close to the November showdown and what is the cry that has turned the heads of more Americans than anything including a list of Obama’s past associations that make Stalin start to look like a patriot? The economy!

After the ratification of the EU’s Lisbon Treaty we will experience more interaction with Europe than at any time since WWII. After some initial changes in that presidency you will see a leader emerge that will swagger into power in a way that will make Obama look amateurish. Here is where the real test begins.

Many who are committed to the study of eschatology (second coming doctrine) are already resigned to the fact that these things are all part of pre-written history (prophecy) and must happen to bring in the events promised in writ.

Those who fulfill the prophecies of the bible may only be doing the inevitable but that is by no means an excuse or a means of dismissing culpability. Christ said they would do what they do but there will be a price to pay.

Woe unto the world because of offences! For it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! Mt. 18:7
