John Mayer was recently seen partying at the Blackberry Cell Phones Storm Launch Party in Los Angeles, California. This comes a year after Blackberry Cell Phones, sold through Verizon Cell Phones, sponsored his summer tour known officially as "The John Mayer Summer Tour." John Mayer has had many high profile relationships some of which included Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston, Minka Kelly, and rumors of a romance with Heidi Klum in 2003. And yet, John Mayer's most high profile relationship may be with Blackberry Cell Phones. John Mayer was at the Launch Party for Blackberry Cell Phones newest addition, the Storm. There he flaunted his assortment of tech gadgets and Verizon cell phones while other stars such as AnnaLynne McCord, Joy Bryant, Kim Karadashian, Juliette Lewis and others gathered to celebrate the newest bit of technology. It was a fun filled affair for the pop and blues guitarist who hails from Connecticut, but this was not the only time he's been seen out with his Blackberry Cell Phones. No, it does not take an event like this or them sponsoring his summer tour for him actively show off his handheld technology. Rather he can be seen candidly doing it in a number of places. Mayer has been seen out with his Blackberry and has even said that he loves it for song writing. Yes, apparently when creativity strikes he will bust out his phone and write himself an email or make a notepad with the song idea in it. That way the idea is kept and he can come back to it when he's ready to utilize the idea. In addition to that he can do twitter and blog updates from the road or from home right on his handheld device. Indeed this a great relationship for Blackberry Cell Phones and thus, for Verizon Cell Phones to have as well. The fact that they sponsored his tour has shown excellent ramifications as now the Grammy winning artist is seen using his phone in public all the time, which in turn means anyone that reads the tabloids or looks up celebrity gossip online also sees. But it is also his crossover appeal between the blues and teeny-pop that gives him such pull as an endorser of a product. His range of influence is much greater than that of someone stuck to one genre of music. And this is why Blackberry made a smart move. And it is easy to see that such a move is paying off and will continue well into the future.
