A company chart is similar to a chart of an individual. A company has a life of its own. Usually the chart of a company begins when the company has a legal start or is incorporated. The chart of general motors is indicating that the officers in charge have been kidding themselves. Neptune, the planet of illusion and deception, and denial has been influencing the chart for the last 3 years. An astrologer would have been warning the company that they were kidding themselves about something or looking the other way. Finances have been under stress for the last 4 years, with Pluto and Saturn aspecting Venus, indicating the universe has been demanding that they restructure and reduce money being spent. It has been a bankruptcy signature yet they are still afloat albeit barely. The vibration around the company in December is being accountable and an emotional shock being delivered to the workers. When they went to Washington the first time they had Jupiter, the planet of blessing and hubris aspecting the chart, this is actually very positive for them, the negative aspect of Jupiter is thinking everything is going to be fine without putting in the work. Jupiter hubris was quite evident yet they returned with more humility with Saturn conjunct moon. What would an astrologer say about the fate of GM? They are long overdue, they were supposed to be restructuring the company for the last 3 or 4 years and they have waited too long. 2009 and 2010 indicate more difficulty in finances. The chart shows major shift in monies, most likely selling off and closing of plants, beginning in June 2009 with a major pulling back in spending money. As in our charts, when we have a Saturn to our Venus it is time to rethink what we want to spend our money on and usually it means there is not as much money to spend. With Uranus to Venus, it is sudden change in finances and a chunk of money coming in a chunk going out. My biggest concern with the astrological energy for GM is the Neptune energy continues implying that there are secrets and deception going on, where the company is either fooling itself that it can pull out of this and or there is outright deception someplace. Part of the deception is in the arena of the stocks, and the other is from behind the scenes. It also can imply that there are leaks happening from within or stealing corporate secrets. The other energy of deception is showing that they are not telling the truth someplace, how much worse can it get? It does appear that GM has a hold on the USA and will receive support. There is still a Jupiter transit for GM at the time they are requesting money, as long as they do their homework that can get something that is good for them. Unfortunately for the USA with the planet of deception surrounding the chart of GM whether intentional or not, the decision that congress will be making is with missing or misguided information.
