A common symptom of heart disease is shortness of breath, which is caused by the blood being deprived of the appropriate amount of oxygen. An additional common symptom is chest pain or pain down either arm. Other signs are palpitations, fainting, emotional instability, cold hands and feet, frequent perspiration, and fatigue.

â€Exercise is key to keeping your heart healthy. Not only does it bump up your energy level, but it also can keep your cholesterol down and your heart working quite well. Remember the heart is a muscle, and just like the rest of our muscles, it needs to get a work out.
â€Lemon is good herbal remedy for heart diseases. If you use lemon daily, it proves helpful in preventing heart problems as it prevents the accumulation of cholesterol in the blood vessels.
â€Add salads to your daily regime to help you meet recommended servings of fruits and vegetables. Celery, leafy greens, tomatoes, berries, and other fruits and veggies should be enjoyed in at least eight servings daily.
â€Honey is considered as one of the excellent home remedies for heart care. Mix a tablespoon of honey and the juice of half a lemon in a glass of water, before going to bed.
â€Over time, cholesterol buildup can occur in these blood vessels in the form of plaque. This narrows the artery and can imprison the amount of blood that can flow from end to end it.
â€Patient of heart problems should take a diet rich in vitamin C as it is helpful in preventing heart problems. Diet rich in vitamin E should be taken by the patient as it improves the oxygenation of cells. A balanced diet along with exercise is good for treating heart problems.
â€A proper diet can start getting your heart in shape. Your heart is a well oiled machine that needs the proper tools to stay working well. Certain foods have the required nutrients and vitamins needed to ensure arteries are clog free. Stick to small amounts of red wine, nuts and dark chocolate that can be a beneficial part of your diet.
