What's wrong with starting your early morning routine with a shrill burst of the alarm? And if its wrong what's the alternative? Lately there's been a lot of talk about the Law of Attraction - Marci Shmirnoff/The Secret/The Sedona Method and the list goes on. The Law of Attraction states that what you give out comes back to you and its widely accepted by the self help industry as a universal law as real as the law of gravity. Do you wake up in alarm as your clock radio goes off and get bombarded by depressing news stories, or wake to the shrill ringing of a bell? Remeber the Law of Attraction means that this emotion is going to be reflected back to you by the universe right through your day. I personally wake up to a gradually brightening light courtesy of my Body Clock - its a great invention that simulates sunrise (and sundown) and stimulates well being hormones as it does it. Much better than the alarm. The body clock gently awakes you using your natural rhythms and is a fantastic way to start the day - by the Law of Attraction you should be creating more peace in your life and in fact they are proven to alleviate depression and are great for seasonal affective disorder to. An evening routine can help too - if you want to be calm in your morning routine the best thing you can do is to create an evening routine where you plan what you need for the next day and make sure it is ready the night before. Leave enough time for breakfast too. Remember the Law of Attraction states that if you emanate calm, calm will be attracted to you - its like an upward spiral. Good luck!
