Lawn Mowers For You To Choose

Did you know that there are four different kinds of power lawn mowers available today? The first kind being a machined rotary push mower. Rotary mowers are the most common among residential homeowners. Almost all consumers today have rotary push mowers. No matter where you drive (whether in your city or country), whether in the springtime, summertime or early fall, you see dozens of people with this type of mower. They are made up of a single blade enclosed in a metal case that are supported by wheels. Rotary push mowers are sold through any large discount stores such as WalMart, Target, K-Mart as well as any home improvement stores such as Home-Depot or Lowes. The rotary push mowers usually have more than one prices ranges depending on their good features. The rotary push mowers are usually priced at approximately $100 up to $500 with usually a life span of no more than ten years. Rotary push mowers that contain more features, for instance, having steel, aluminum or plastic decks usually lasting twenty years in accordance to regular upkeep of maintenances. These rotary push mowers are usually priced up to $1000. Rotary push mowers also come in gas powered or electric start. Gas powered are more utilized by the consumers, however, electric start rotary push mowers are becoming increasingly popular and are used for quite smaller lawns.

The second kind of lawn mower is power reel lawn mower. Power reel lawnmowers have several blades that are attached to both ends of drums. The drums, in turn, are attached to the wheels. Power reel lawn mowers make the cleanest cut of grass. These reel lawn mowers make the grass suitable to heal quicker. It is no wonder why I see my neighbor using their power metal reel lawn mower and has the best lawn on our street. The power reel lawn mower was one of the first kind of mechanically made mower.

The third is the riding lawn mower. It is more suitable for larger lawns in homes. Riding lawn mowers usually have a cushioned seat (or plastic) with a large deck and steering wheel. Riding lawn mowers cuts grass at approximately more suitable for lawns averaging about one or more acres of grass. There are many different consumer brand names to choose from. John Deere and Cub Cadet being the most well know quality riding lawn mowers on the market today that last many, many years. You may pay more, nonetheless, but the purchase should and would make it worth it in the following years to come.

Lastly, the tractor mower. Tractor mowers are used for lawns in golf courses and/or municipal city/country parks and colleges. Tractor lawn mowers usually ranges from $4,000 and up. The most popular consumer name brands of tractor mowers are Toro and John Deere.
