Since the home premium or basic of Vista could not be upgraded to the profession of the ultimate version of the operating system, you have only one option that is to upgrade Windows 7 Home Premium from Vista. However, before you plan to upgrade your operating system, there are few important things to be considered. You should also know the capacity of your system before upgrading a new OS. IN case, if your system does not have the capacity to operative Windows 7, the system will start working slowly. This method can be used by a user, who does not have a non-HB or non-HP windows 7 DVD media. In this process, you will be able to copy the complete installation file with hard drive disk. You also have an option to modify or even delete the ei.cfg file for selecting the particular Windows 7 installation edition. You also have an option to use ei.cfg Removal Utility or Windows 7 ISO image edition switcher in your system, if you have ISO image software. Therefore, this process will help you to install the Windows 7 editions for selection during the setup.

- After getting ready for upgrading the Windows 7 version, you should also boot as well as log on to the 7 desktop. This would help you to run the windows anytime. However, when you perform this type of method for upgrading Windows 7 Home Premium, you have option to use either OEMSLP or a product key available form any retail channel.
