Learn Street Karate Training For Fighting Outside The Dojo!

By: Steve Gib Home | Recreation-and-Sports

I am going to give you a few ways to defend yourself that I know will work. I have spent a long time as a bouncer, and have even had to protect myself when I was in jail. Even if you are an expert in martial arts, I know that you will have to have a few street fighting abilities to go along with what you know as a martial artist.

Learn street karate techniques #1 - If you can use your teeth for biting, by all means do it. If the person you are fighting against puts his/her hand at your face level, do not hesitate to sink your teeth into it. All parts of the body are perfect for biting, no matter if it is a part of the upper body or part of the lower body. Biting as a street fighting tip is going to make you a more lethal fighter.

Learn street karate techniques #2 - The body parts that should be kicked are the knees, shins, and groin. Be wary of throwing a side-kick when you are street fighting because you will need to be able to jump up fast in the event that the person you are fighting catches your leg. All of your kicks should be directed to the lower body so you don't get knocked down. In addition, the person you are fighting will stay away from you.

Learn street karate techniques #3 - Take some time to hone self defense techniques that are not rehearsed. Have someone throw you around in an open space in order for you make the scenarios seem more real, and to practice responding to unexpected maneuvers that you will probably face in a real fight.

Learn street karate techniques #4 - Eye jabs are going to result in a high amount of pain, and are more effective than a hit. If your opponent comes into close combat range then I suggest you gouge out his eys. The person you are fighting will be in extreme pain, and he/she won't be able to see very well, which will help you gain an advantage.

Learn street karate moves #5 - Be sure to be aware of where and who you are fighting and who happens to be around. If you have to walk in the dark, stay on brightly lit paths, and make use of windows in order to see anything that might attack you from behind.

Learn street karate tips #6 - A final strategy to successful street fighting is to go on the offensive before your opponent. You should act like you are backing off by indicating that you don't want to fight, then jump on your opponent quickly!
