Let It Ride Poker

The game of poker has long been a favorite of many players. There is the traditional game enjoyed by many as well as different variations that have developed over time. These variations provide some excitement and variety in poker playing. Let it ride is one of these variations that many players enjoy playing.

A relative of five card stud poker, let it ride is a popular game. Three cards comprise each player's hand. These three cards are only seen by the player. Players may not show their hand to anyone at the table until the end of the game. The other two remaining cards that make up the hand are placed on the table. These cards are laid face up so all the players can view them. These two cards in the middle of the table can be utilized by any player to complete their hand.

When playing let it ride players are actually playing against the house. This is different than traditional poker games where all the players are competing against one another. The card rankings remain the same in let it ride poker.

Let it ride is an attractive game for beginners. The rate of play is much slower. This allows beginners to better learn how to play the game. Additionally many senior citizens prefer this version of poker for similar reasons. Let it ride poker games can move so slow the some dealers have dubbed the game let it die.

When playing traditional poker, players make one wager that is the pot to be won at the end of the hand. However, in let it ride three equal bets are made individually by each player. The table has spaces marked on it in which these beds are to be placed. The spaces conclude a box with a one a two and dollar sign. Each bag is placed in these three spaces. There are two rounds for players have the option of removing the bets in either the first box second box or even both. The bet that is placed in the space with the dollar sign must stay.
