Liquid Roof, Specifically Designed For Rvs, Trailers And Mobile Homes

By: Webmaster Liquid Roof Home | Home-and-Family | Home-Improvement

Liquid Roof Coatings are Specially Designed for RVs. Liquid roof coatings are aftermarket products designed to extend roof life. Liquid Roof seals roof leaks, or merely provide a heat reflective or aesthetic roof coatings function over existing roof surfaces. Liquid Roof forms a 100% chemically-cured seamless White membrane every bit as solid and attractive as factory-installed sheet rubber. Liquid Roof's simple one-coat application by brush or roller saves you time and money, sealing and protecting your RV from water damage.
Liquid Roof is a true EDPM rubber and is the only one sold in liquid form. Liquid roof makes installations easy. Liquid Roof could be described as a liquid version of the single ply EPDM membrane which has established and outstanding performance record of over 30 years. The EDPM chemistry has two unique features not possessed by any other rubber. It is unaffected by ultra-violet and ozone, and can tolerate continuous exposure at temperatures over 300 degrees F. The latter feature of liquid roof is also what gives EPDM rubbers the best aging properties (retain flexibility longer) of all elastomers.
Some of the unique benefits of the liquid roof are:
†Can be applied over all roofing materials;
†UV and ozone resistant;
†Excellent against ponding water;
†Waterproofs IMMEDIATELY;
†Not damaged by freezing and has long term flexibility;
†Final cured properties not damaged by adverse conditions;
†ONE coat application.
Liquid Roof is ideal for various forms of roof repair: RV roof repair, metal roof repair, and more. However Liquid Roof is not now for RV roofs! Liquid Roof is moreover recognized as an EPDM a rubber appreciated for its protecting possessions and adaptability. Liquid roof sticks to the entire types of facades- canvas, plywood, suds, cement, mass rubber, customized roofing, additional roof coverings, strengthen, timber, top tiles, genuine tiles, solid, and more! Use it on approximately everything, counting previews, RVs, decks, pool liners, underground room waterproofing, and channels.
Even if you use liquid roof, be sure to check your roof periodically for roof leaks. If you leave your roof in unknown or bad repair, you could be in for huge problems and costly roof repairs. Remember, your entire coach lies beneath your roof.
Light and Heat Reflective
Liquid Roof coat dramatically reduces solar heat absorption in buildings with or without air-conditioning, reducing energy costs and paying for itself over time. Deflecting most of the heat from a building's skin, Liquid Roof Recoat reduces temperatures to that of outside shade. It also minimizes thermal shock, surface expansion and subsequent roof deterioration, prolonging building life.
Environmentally Friendly
Liquid Roof Recoat alleviates many of the environmental concerns typically associated with similar products. It contains no solvents for low environmental impact and the wet coating is easily removes from hands and tools with soap and water.
Application of liquid roof done by brush, roller or squeegee. A combination of methods might be most effective. For example, on a flat roof, pour a serpentine bead of material, distribute with squeegee, finish with a short nap roll to press air out of cracks and even out wet film. Product will self level when sufficient material has been applied. Working time is 4-6 hours depending on temperature. A single application of Liquid Roof is preferable to multiple coats. Apply with brush around flashings and edges using long, slow strokes. On flat surfaces, material can be poured, spread with a squeegee and then evened out with a short nap roller. Touch-ups may be applied as desired after initial film has cured and surface is first wiped with solvent.
Liquid Roof may be applied at any temperature that permits it being spread onto the surface. It will waterproof immediately upon application. The solvent will evaporate at a rate governed by temperature but will not be affected by relative humidity. Exposure to freezing temperatures before cure has taken place will not damage the film. The time necessary to reach cure should not be a concern as this process will occur automatically. Exposure to sunlight will accelerate the curing process. The final film properties of the cured membrane will be the same regardless of the time required to achieve cure. Liquid Roof will provide long term protection even under extreme exposure conditions.
