Live Baccarat Games And How It Is Played

By: Kenneth Wilson Home | Arts-and-Entertainment | Casino-Gambling

Playing live Baccarat games in casinos have become very popular among the fun loving people. Baccarat is a card game that can have to the public only three outcomes. The outcomes are as follows:
# The player may win;
# The banker may win;
# The game may result in a tie.

The baccarat game comes in three forms, commonly known as Baccarat Chenim de fer, Baccarat Banque, and Punto Banco. The players have the liberty to choose between strategy, skill, or both, while playing the former two games. Punto Banco can be described as merely a game where you really need to be very lucky. Previously it was believed to be a game for the rich section of the society. Gradually it has been introduced in many of the casinos, which can be real or online.

In a live game of the baccarat there can be a conversation between the players and the dealer. Shuffling of the cards can be done in front of the players too. In case of real casino games the dealer has to shuffle the cards. The dealer then watches over the betting. But, in case of live baccarat games the dealer also plays the role of a banker. You may choose to place bets on the game even if you don't want to participate

People betting on a particular game can wager on either players or the banker, whoever wins the game, provided the betters aren't playing. In the beginning the initial bets are always taken by the dealer. If the dealer makes an announcement of "no more bets", the bets are off. In order to initiate the game two cards with face up are dealt by the dealer. The player gets the first and the third cards and the dealer takes the second and fourth cards. A game can have 1 deck, or 8 or 6 decks.

Objective of the Baccarat game

A hand totaling 9 or a closer value to it is desired. Picture cards or card with value more than 10 are taken to be 0. Other cards have their face values and Ace is taken to be 1. If the value of cards given to the players has a sum exceeding 9, the digit in the unit's place is considered. When the sum is less than 5 or same as 10 a third card can be asked for. The dealer can choose to have a third card if the player accepts one. This game can be played online as well as at land casinos.
