By going on a liver cleansing diet your liver will function a lot better and your immune system will improve. For the first few days of the diet, it is recommended that you avoid red meats, sweet food, bread rich recipes, salt and fried foods. Foods that contain additives and preservatives or foods that are high in artificial or natural sugar are high in toxins and place an unnecessary strain on the liver. If you allow yourself to feel hungry you will be much more likely to give up on your diet and pig out on something that you should not be eating. Make sure that you have some cut up fruits or vegetables on hand should you feel yourself getting hungry.
