The Lloyds Banking Group along with Siemens Enterprise Communications and BHP Billiton to name a few are just some of the clients who have helped contribute to the 55percent growth in turnover for creative communications agency Aspect Ltd in their 2010 to 2011 year end. Following the impact of the recession back in 2009 Aspect Ltd saw a drop in profits compared to the previous year. However a belief in the companys vision and mission from owners Simon King Cline and Ben Hillson saw the appointment of 11 new permanent members of staff to ensure their commitment to providing value for their clients continued and it seems to have paid off. One of the agencies new event wins saw Lloyds appoint Aspect to produce its inaugural leadership convention for 5000 employees at Birminghams LG Arena in March 2011. The venue was transformed into multiple zones including interactive exhibition areas an Olympic Village and the plenary in the arena itself. There is so much activity within Aspect at the moment it is quite unbelievable. Whether it is a mining conference in New Guinea or a Sales Kick Off in Southampton we are responding to our clients ever changing needs. Like most companies our clients want cost effective innovative positive and measurable solutions to their communication challenges delivered on shorter than ever lead in times. Our impressive results are the consequence of an increase in activity in our 4 core areas of service with Shareholder Engagement AGMs Employee Communication and Customer and Partner Events seeing the largest share of the percentage. Every part of the agency has contributed to this impressive year end result. The Aspect team deserves credit for working hard staying positive and always providing excellent advice and client service. says Director of Production Jo Randle. With a range of new contract wins in 2010 they have seen global companies in the energy travel and retail sectors contribute to the agencies expanding pipeline whilst relationship clients have increased and extended their activity adding to the boost in turnover. The One Group convention which took place on 24 March featured a speech from new chief executive Antonio Horta Osorio. The LG Arena which recently underwent a 29m redevelopment was transformed into zones including interactive exhibition areas an Olympic Village and an arena set up for the main plenary and hosted by the BBCs Fiona Bruce. The Olympic village also hosted a range of sporting celebrities including the Olympic gold medal winners Jonathan Edwards and Mark Foster. Aspect LTD worked with the Lloyds team to produce the event. The London events agency was responsible for project management production and logistics support producing the event within the 10 week lead time. Aspects executive producer Lee Eld said The speed at which the production came together was very interesting to say the least a show of this size and complexity would normally have a six month lead time. Everybody worked hard on its development and delivery the producers suppliers and venue did a fantastic job and we were proud to be part of such a prestigious project The Lloyds Banking Group corporate affairs director Matt Young has said This was a key event where our new CEO outlined the Groups vision to 5000 leaders. Our event was exceptionally well received and everyone did a fantastic job to deliver in a very challenging space of time.
